Libertarian Anarchist Foundation is a platform of political action and ideas that consistently stands with the oppressed in the struggle for workers’ rights and the conflict between the state and the people—even in positions deemed “extreme” in Turkey—and has, in fact, paid a price for this; it burns with the fervor to transform a rotten and antiquated system of oppression through optimistic radicalism.
For millennia, it has manifested itself through enslavement, humiliation, dehumanization, degeneration, and mass slaughter; the institutional mechanisms of oppression and inefficiency created by the state—a monopoly on violence that has produced poverty and misery for the masses, as well as obedience and immorality within political power structures—and which rejects these hierarchies and sociocultural decay, advocating instead that an alternative is not only possible but necessary; if anarcho-capitalism, if an ideology that offers such a profound perspective and a multifaceted understanding of humanity’s existence, civilization, and future is insufficient to define our position in the class struggle, it is questionable what else could fulfill this function.
Libertarian Anarchist Foundation is a consistent and principled platform for action and ideas, organized in opposition to the top-down, liberal-libertarian platforms in Turkey that stifle the libertarian youth and systematically operate with anti-libertarian agendas. LAF, established by a completely independent youth movement of free-thinking advocates who have grown weary of the corrupt liberal politics in Turkey that seeks to buy off and pacify through external funding—and who have adopted the motto that this can and must be reorganized—began through the ideological reformation and realignment of its predecessor, 'Liberteryen Gençlik'; Its enduring lifeblood has always been an unwavering opposition to extremism, radicalism, political realism, and opportunism. LAF’s fundamental mission is to introduce libertarian thought—which is needed in Turkey and resonates deeply with youth—to broad segments of the public within a politically realistic framework, and to at least address the genuine concerns of a working-class segment that has little to lose but much to gain, while fostering a broader class consciousness.
